The Founder's Story

Two Decades. One Principle.

Two decades on, that principle still defines how we operate. It is why our buyer relationships outlast decades, why government departments and PSUs reorder year after year, and why hospitality groups recommend us to their procurement peers. Mr. Kulanthaivelan continues to personally oversee what goes out of our gates — and that hands-on accountability remains the foundation of everything Bright India Traders stands for.

Bright India Traders was founded in 2005 by Mr. S. Kulanthaivelan, a textile businessman whose career in manufacturing and institutional supply now spans more than 20 years. He started the company on one commitment — that the quality the customer is promised will be the quality the customer receives. No substitution, no last-minute compromises, no quiet downgrade between sample and shipment.

Bright India Traders has been a participating exhibitor at the Clean India Show — India’s largest and longest-running B2B exhibition for the cleaning, hygiene and housekeeping industry, held annually at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.

The Clean India Show brings together facility management companies, hospitality groups, hospital procurement teams, institutional buyers, distributors and international importers from across the country and overseas. Participating year on year has put our cleaning mops, housekeeping cloths and hospitality textile range directly in front of the buyers who specify and procure these products at scale — and has helped us build long-term supply relationships with FM contractors, distributors and procurement partners we still serve today.

Bright India Traders operates from three dedicated units in Erode, Tamil Nadu — one of India’s most established textile manufacturing hubs. All three sit in close proximity, giving us tight coordination between production, storage and dispatch, and the ability to scale output for large institutional, hospitality and export orders without breaking rhythm.
